Associate partner in the firm is a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, (CPAK) and has Bachelors’ of commerce degree. Mr. Abuga has more than 14 years’ experience in areas of audit and assurance and has extensive forensic audit and investigation experience. He also has wide experience on tax matters is currently the tax partner at Gatimu & Co.
Over the 14 years Abuga has amassed experience and he has wide experience and exposure in corporate finance, tax and internal control structures. He has been a financial controller in major corporate and previously an audit manager with International audit firm PKF Kassim Lakha.
In the context of audit Mr. Abuga is in-charge of all service industry audits and financial consultancy that involve system review. has been instrumental in development of audit programs that the firm uses and revision of the programs to be in-line with current development in the industry.
Abuga has also served as Financial Controller for one of the largest services company Kenya Airport Services Limited where he was in charge of all financial management and giving advise to the board. He has rich experience in the areas of corporate governance and internal audit.
